Instructions

Use the following calculator to determine eligibility for undergraduate admission and admission to the Honors College.

Step 1

Enter either your ACT or SAT score. Only one is required. If you have taken both, you are welcome to enter both. This tool will determine the higher test score to use for admission criteria.

Step 2

Enter your high school class size and your rank in the class OR your high school grade point average (GPA). If you have both, we welcome you to enter both. This tool will determine the higher one to use for admission criteria.

Missouri State University uses a 4.0 GPA scale.
GPA is above 4.0

If your GPA is above a 4.0 (because your school uses a weighted system based on the 4.0) please select 4.0 for your GPA.

11 point scale or percentages

If your school uses an 11 point scale or percentages (100 point scale), convert your GPA to the 4.0 scale.

A+ (97-100) = 4.0
A (93-96) = 4.0
A- (90-92) = 3.7

B+ (87-89) = 3.3
B (83-86) = 3.0
B- (80-82) = 2.7
C+ (77-79) = 2.3
C (73-76) = 2.0
C- (70-72) = 1.7

D+ (67-69) = 1.3
D (65-66) = 1.0
E/F (below 65) = 0.0
Step 3

High school core curriculum

Please note that this calculator does not consider whether you have met the 17-unit high school core curriculum, which is also required for freshman admission. Please review the high school core curriculum requirement.

Transfer students entering with 24 or more hours of transferable college credit after high school graduation should review our transfer admission policy to determine admission eligibility.
